Books in the Freezer discussion

What did you think of this month's read? Was it what you expected? Did the reality television aspect play an interesting part in the story? Did you like the way that the story wrapped up, or would you have ended it differently? What temperature rating would you give this book?

I really enjoyed The Switch House. I really liked how the author ended the story. Some of the visions are seriously disturbing. I would say that this one was definitely in the fridge, and one of those scenes I would have put in the freezer.

This was such a strange book, but I couldn't put it down. I'm still not 100% sure how I feel about it. It wasn't what I expected at all, and I did enjoy the twists that I did not see coming. I liked how it wrapped up, not sure how I would have ended it differently. I would say it was a fridge book, with a bit of freezer burn, simply because there were a few scenes I had to stop reading for a bit to digest them.

I have mixed feelings about this one. I thought it was a unique take on a haunted house story but I'm not sure what I actually thought of it. With the potential unreliable narrator, it reminded me of some psychological thrillers I have read but I'm so burned out on those kinds of stories.

Sorry I feel like I don't have many insightful thoughts on this one!

I really liked this story, especially that ending! I kept finding myself dying to see what happens next. There was a lot of good twists and turns packed into this little novella!
