This is the second of Allen's stories about The Waverley women of North Carolina. I read the first Garden Spells last year and shelved this one for a time when I needed a "feel good read"-it did not disappoint.

All the main characters are back, a little older and with new Waverley girls added in. The women of this family seem to be born with a "touch of magic" which either enhances someone life or puts them on the right path. Again, there was a bit of romance, a bit a drama and a lot of fun.

Back in October there was a blurb that she was working on a new book-I look forward to it adding it to my "feel good" list

I have this on my list too. I remember how funny it was that other families in town had special talents too (one was particularly funny).
