So far, I've only read The 5th Wave, but my copy of The Infinite Sea got here today, and I hope to start it soon.

I was actually really surprised that I enjoyed The 5th Wave, but I really loved it. I didn't want to put it down. It was so entertaining, and it changed my mind about reading sci-fi books.

Erin (eisawesome) | 20 comments I really liked the first book and I just ordered my copy of the second one!! ;)
The first one kept my attention and I was entertained by it. It was one of the only sci-fi books that I really liked and wasn't about the same thing.

Rebecca Aguilera | 25 comments I just got Infinite Sea today! I'm super excited about reading it. And seeing the 5th Wave movie for that matter! Currently I'm reading The Rule of Thoughts, so I have to wait until that ones done for the Infinite Sea.

I only read it in July, so you're not the only one.

Jessica I just finished Infinite Sea yesterday. It was amazing, I loved it. I loved it so much I read the whole thing in one day.

Jessica The waves were like stages of what came or was to come.
Like the 1st wave was the plauge and so on.

Yeah, like each "wave" is a new thing that happens to the Earth.

A sequel, are you serious. Now I know I am behind. LOL

Belle | 14 comments It's so brilliant, when I was reading it I literally hugged it for 2 whole days!

Belle | 14 comments nearly every time I talk about it I start sobbing it was that good!

Rebecca Aguilera | 25 comments I just finished the Infinite Sea yesterday. Really enjoyed it, difficult decision figuring out which one in the series I liked better! P.S. I love Evan Walker!

Belle | 14 comments same! I thought the ending was pretty sad in ringers bit.

Rachel | 39 comments I love both The 5th Wave (The Fifth Wave, #1) by Rick Yancey and The Infinite Sea (The Fifth Wave #2) by Rick Yancey ! I also love Evan Walker! I think Ben is okay, he just isn't my favorite character. Yes, it was sad for Ringer. I really liked Razor, although there were times that I questioned his loyalty to her, especially near the end.
I can't wait to finish this series.

Jessica I also love Evan Walker!! :D
Infinite Sea is my fav though.

Rebecca Aguilera | 25 comments I was surprised at the end of the book that I actually felt sad for Ringer as well. I didn't really like her, I especially didn't when I realized this book was going to be in her perspective as well. But by the end, I really enjoyed learning more about her and poundcake, and so forth.

Jessica Yeah, I liked how he switched the p.o.vs usually I don't like books like that but in the book infinite sea it totally worked and I loved it. But my favorite p.o.vs was Evan & cassie.

Rebecca Aguilera | 25 comments Completely agree! Got to love that Evan Walker :)

The movie started filming!

How did everyone like The Infinite Sea? It kind of fell flat for me.

Yay, I can't wait for it to come out! Did they announce when it comes to theaters?

I loved infinite sea. But that does happen to me sometimes. I love the first book but then the second book is kind of a disappointment.

It won't be in theaters for a while - January 2016.

I just couldn't get behind the new direction and main narration. It really bothered me that he kind of abandoned a certain character from the first book.

Like it kind of felt that the whole book was about Ringer?

Yeah. I didn't like that, especially because the synopsis made it seem like we'd be following Cassie again.

Jessica That's true. I wanted to read more of Cassie & Evan.
