Okay my brain just is not comprehending this challenge at all. I'm completely blanking on if there are any rules to picking a book? Like a special list or a special shelf or something? Or is it just if it applies it'll count?

...crap. A tie. Eep, what do I do?! I felt the themes were both very well represented in both books. So I'll end this tie breaker based on enjoyment.

I enjoyed Reclamation a bit more but I wouldn't give it a full 5. I'll say it has a higher weighted 4.

A little too boring for me. The books I read started off okay but then became draggy in the middle

I didn't really get into either book, but I have enjoyed the whole Rachel Morgan series by Kim Harrison and generally like witch books. I'm going to go for Witches to win.

I've been in a book slump lately and found it very difficult to find suitable books to read for this challenge.

Both represented their respective themes well. I did not really enjoy either of them, but felt that 1 star would be too harsh. I select Romantic Suspense as the winner purely because A Discovery of Witches has ruined me for other "witchy" books.
