Theme:★★★★ This was Adrian's (Colt's BF) book. He is self medicating due to a devastating loss that he felt responsible for. This is his journey towards forgiveness and love----something just for him.
Enjoyment: ★★★★ I enjoyed the story. It was a little angsty but definitely New Adult-ish. Good writing though.
Total: ★★★★ I enjoy a good "love heals all wounds" kind of romance.

Yeah, I love the Demonica and LotD series as well. I actually have read all of them except Immortal Rider and Eternal Rider which I skipped over for some reason. Thanatos was great but Reseph's book is my personal favorite. Snowbound amnesia!

I did love REseph as well because Ione really redeems himm

Where as I love mythology it is urban fiction the other pair I am in that I will need help for. I am thinking of doing Justice for Skylar for mythology just because I haven't read any of that series yet.

Sorry Urban fantasy -- fantasy element set in a modern city type setting. think Ilona Andrews "Magic ****" series I would love to find a M/M version of it.

Theme: 3 stars. 3rd in a series, there is more to the relationship between Nicky and Brandon but there is an overlay of drama due to the plotline which puts a child in jeopardy. The angst was a bit too much due to how horrible that sort of a situation is and I felt it detracted from the story
Enjoyment: 3 stars. There are some tough themes in this book and I didn't particularly enjoy it much. And this is from a person who really liked books 1 & 2 and the characters
Total: 3 stars. The writing is still good and there were some good scenes, I just didn't enjoy reading it very much. The villain was pretty apparent from the beginning and the motive didn't make a lot of sense. So then we're just getting really gritty angst for very little positive.

Book: Submerging Inferno, Book #1 in Men of Myth series
Author: Brandon Witt
Finished: 10/10/14
Theme: 3.5 stars, Brett is discovering the reality of his parentage which imply perhaps considerable skills and abilities he had no idea he possessed. The world building is interesting. There is a bit of a cliffhanger ending and I'm interested to see where this world goes.
Enjoyment: 3 stars. I wasn't crazy about the actual reading of this story, it felt a bit all over the place. But I will keep reading the series.
