5.9 - Elizabeth Swann
Why is the rum gone? Elizabeth Swann might be more courageous than Captain Jack Sparrow, but she certainly gets captured a lot! In honor of Swann and Sparrow, read a book with a bird on the cover or the name of a specific type of bird in the title/subtitle. Ex: The Sparrow; We'll Always Have Parrots; The Eagle Has Landed; H is for Hawk
Wesley the Owl The Remarkable Love Story of an Owl and His Girl by Stacey O'Brien Owls Well That Ends Well (Meg Langslow, #6) by Donna Andrews The Help by Kathryn Stockett Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez Love Among the Chickens (Ukridge, #1) by P.G. Wodehouse The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie (Flavia de Luce, #1) by Alan Bradley
Required: If using the cover option, include the cover in your post.

No, if you're using the title option it has to be the name of a specific bird, not compound word that contains the name of a bird. The Dovekeepers will still work for the task, though. It has birds on the cover.

I had to go to Amazon to get the cover big enough but, yes, I see the birds. Please reference this approval when you claim your book for the task so Sandy doesn't have to go through the approval process again.

Thanks

Yes, that works. Point out the birds when you post, though. I never would have seen them if you didn't tell me they were there. ;-)

I almost didn't see them myself - only reason I even took a closer look was thinking there might be a bird in the bird cage.

I didn't think about this until, while reading the book, the Cormorant becomes a recurring image. Does this work for a bird on the cover?
