Amazon says it's not out until Oct. 26. But it's available for advance sales.

Okay, I take that back. The hardcover is listed as "out of print" until the 26th. I'm thinking they sold out??

Okay, one more edit--it seems to have been the "international edition" that's out of print (before ever being released?) but the hardcover is there, if you track it down. Amazon is giving a deep discount, but dammit I want to go get it from my local bookshop.

I think this may be one of those situations where the lucky Brits get to sample great lit before us Yanks.

No fair! You were having fun with Jonathan Swift while we were stuck with Jonathan Edwards and "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God."

We have a LOT of ground to make up.

'And now unveiled, her toilet stands displayed'..

Well, they might as well have some good lines to snigger at, given the nature of the whole poem.
