Rangers Apprentice Bundle Books 1-8
question
Rangers Apprentice!!

So I just recently finished the series Rangers Apprentice, and I loved every single book in the series...that has never happened! The Characters were fantastic and very real, it had humor and action, and even a little romance. So if you've read the books what was your opinion on it? (I'm curious.)

I also enjoyed this series. It started with some mythological creatures (Grendel, from Beowulf) and moved on to a more historical genre. It gave me the impression that this was the end of one era and the beginning of a new age. Will and Horace were living in new and exciting times, but the pace of their lives were still set in the "old times".
I also enjoyed the play between the grownups and the teens. While the grownups had their own banter and sense of play, the teens were at somewhat of a loss, not understanding when the adults were joking with them. The adults often sigh when Will or Horace seem obtuse.
I especially like how the adults mentor the teens. We don't get to see that as much in our day and age.
