Reading in the Rain Book Club discussion

Just finished part 4 and omg its intense. wow almost done with my first Stephen King novel!

Next up: Matters of Life and Death!

Oh man, this book is a very good read, but it's so unsettling. I like how everything is well-explained, nearly nothing is left to chance. Jack's inner dialouge is especialy intriguing. He's trying to get things right, but his temper, bitterness and alcohol habits combined with the Overlook's shine is making things go downhill. It's only a question of time.

I love the combination of realism and the supernatural - it's quite terrifying.
