What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I started reading a scifi/fantasy series years ago about a female "agent" working to keep order between alternate dimensions populated by; fairies, demons, etc. Each had their own dimension and this agent traveled between them on assignments (manhunts, etc.) I don't recall either the author or titles, but this would have a been a new series in the 20-teens!!!

It wasn't a great read, but it stuck with me for some reason. I never finished the series. As I recall, they had predominantly white covers with a central dark figure illustration of the protagonist (leather garb plus weapons, etc.)

If this rings any bells for anyone, I'd welcome being pointed in the right direction? Thanks.

I think they were published in the last 5-10 years, 2010-ish, but I'm not positive? And the author is female... I think? Sorry, really vague I know.
