Sean Smallets I thought the ending to Cuckoo was absolutely brilliant and here's why.
To begin with, the fight scene was a perfect bridge. McMurphy was a fighter, and it was bound to happen eventually. And so he fought. Now if anyone recalls, they talked about lobotomies in the very beginning of the book. I think most people probably lost that idea throughout the book. But in the end, McMurphy has a lobotomy, which was said to be used in only extreme cases. McMurphy fell into that extreme case. The way the lobotomy was connected from the beginning to the end of the story was amazing to me

C. J. Scurria Yeah there were a lot of things in this book I found amazing too. Showing the chief's hallucinations was something I found sad as it showed he was going through so much but didn't know how to express it to people.

There was so much depth to this book. I hope anyone that is familiar with the main gist of the story should try this one out!
