it was a good book, though the after it, the series failed to deliver, the movie, I haven't watched it but I wanted to ask, I am one of those people who get really nitpicky about movies that don't follow the source very closely, so how is it compared to the book? whats different and so on

yeah but even among book fans I stand out as one who dislike movies, I can't watch most of the harry potter films because they changes things around, though I will admit they are good adaptations it just that if it misses a thing it annoys me to all hell

I agree for one. It's frustrating how they cant just follow the transitions in the books. Changing them doesnt make them look original (pertaining to the film makers)

yeah, in truth book to movie adaptaion are some of the worst movies of all time, eragon and such and only recently have they started to become good
