Amazon Kindle discussion

My kindle has been syncing with goodreads for a few years now with no problems. But recently, if I get out of the book I'm currently reading on my kindle to look at something else, goodreads shows that I have finished the book. What can I do to stop this?

Thanks! For now I just disconnected my kindle and am manually entering books on goodreads :)

I had the same issue, and tried to find a solution around here with no success.

In my case I read two books at the time, and when switching between, Goodreads marked it as read.

What I ended up doing is restarting my kindle (there's an option in device settings), it worked for me, maybe you can try and see if it works, it's not the final solution, because it seems the issue is around for a long time, but maybe as a workaround.
