Eden | 2 comments So I'm just looking for any feel good books - for around 16 - 17 year olds (or an adult book is fine).Young adult literature is great but I'm just getting a bit sick of all the dystopian, monsters, depressing, vampire books etc. I just want something thats chill and makes you smile! Also, not really a fan of books totally centred around some teen love story. Its really hard to find a really well written yet happy and funny book that isn't cheesy and immature! Would be super grateful for any suggestions!

Anne | 9 comments I recommend "Into the Wild Nerd Yonder" by Julie Halpern and Swim the Fly and the other two titles about the same characters by Don Calame. These are fun and funny reads and just about trying to survive high school and have fun.

"How Opal Mehta got kissed, got wild, and got a life"
by Viswanathan, Kaavya is very funny and a great commentary on the quest for the perfect college. There was some controversy a few years ago about possible plagiarism by the author and I'm not sure how that turned out but the book is well written and very fun.
