Hi all, we can't wait to get started! We think this is the PERFECT book to discuss during October - what book could be better than one set where the Salem Witch Trials occurred, where now a mysterious illness is taking down multiple girls at the same school? Talk about SPOOK.
Here's your first Q: A lot has happened in Part 1, but not much has been explained. Any theories about what is happening to the girls of St. Joan’s? How could these events relate to Ann’s story from the 18th century?

Time for our second CONVERSION question!
What page is everyone on so far? Any favorite quotes to share?
How odd was it when Colleen and Anjali found Emma sitting alone at that bar! Do you think she’s up to something? Should we trust her?

Quotes. I'd have to go with the one that made me roll my eyes ... the cynical me in old age. "As far as we can tell, all three of the girls go to the same pediatrician. At this point we think they may have gotten some vaccinations at about the same time. It's possible that they had a slight allergic reaction to a preservative in the vaccine. It's not a big deal-people have allergic reactions to vaccines all the time."
Clearly I'm a little too old for the slang term "yo-boy". How quickly I've aged and having a homeschooled teen isn't going to help with what kids are saying these days in school.
As stated in your question, not much has been revealed yet as to what is causing the affliction. Hoping more tidbits of the past show up in the next part.
Multiple stories means we can compare and contrast! Do you like Ann’s story or Colleen’s story better so far? Why?
When you're finished with Part One, we'll be discussing CONVERSION over in Part Two! See you there!
