Counting by 7s
question
Counting by 7's

I finished Counting by 7's yesterday. It was a really good book! Possibly one of my favorite books. I liked the plot of the book.
The book was about a girl who's parents die in a car crash. She is very into gardening and technical stuff. She is one of those girls who study a lot and know a lot. 7 is her favorite number and she always finds that there are 7 in everything. The book is hard to explain but I thought it was a very good book. I recommend this book to the girls in the class. I am not sure if the boys would like it but you girls should definitely read it. The next book I am going to read is about a dog and someone in the army. It looks like a very good book. I am going to start reading it today and will keep you guys updated. :)

I felt the same way and it was an amazing book in my opinion.
i didn't think it was going to be THIS good. but it really was. it was good. i felt for the whole story.
This book is so great! I was not expecting it to have such an emotional impact on me, and to be so relatable. This book was amazing and is now one of my favourites!
Counting by Sevens is a capturing novel that places a 12 year old girl, Willow Chance, in a situation of unimaginable loss. Willow is a child genius and spent the first 12 years of life learning everything she could. She finds comfort in studying disease, medical conditions as well as counting by sevens. She has a hard time connecting with anyone but her adoptive parents. But her evolving mind was brought to a halt when both of her parents were killed in a car crash. She was left hopeless with few friends and little to no guidance. Although, the book is not about tragedy and loss, the author takes the issue and turns it into a story of how one can push through their grief. Because of her parents accident, she finds comfort in strangers who eventually become key players in Willows future. Sloan tackles the complex issue of fitting with making Willow an “out of the box” character. She also uses a Vietnamese family and explains how vital they become to Willow. It is not everyday a guidance counselor can bring helping hands and shoulders to cry on to a grieving girl. The novel is truly inspiring and captures the audience emotionally through every page.
