So we can discuss Chapter 2!!! I haven't read it yet, but I am about to.

I don't even know what to say about this chapter aside from the fact that i AM SO FRUSTRATED SHE DIDN'T FINISH TELLING US WHAT SHE SAID ABOUT NOAH NO YOU CAN'T LEAVE US HANGING LIKE THAT GIVE ME THE REST OF THE BOOK NOW

SAME. I am glad that she is like the fandom, we refuse to believe it, but theres a part of us that have that small doubt, that what if he actually is dead?

OH MY GOD I DIDNT THINK OF THAT, THATS PROBABLY IT??? Like i didnt peice that together though I assumed Jude was the one who killed Rachel and even Claire to heal himself (even if he didn't mean to, or realized it), Maybe when he healed himself and got his hands back, Rachel lost hers? Or maybe its just the drugs Mara is on haha

GUYS GUYS GUYS! So I started rereading Unbecoming (very carefully) and listen to this: *page 9 hardback* "The building collapsed. Someone reported it at about three a.m. Thursday..." and then page 10 "They've been taking care of you since Wednesday"
So they've been taking care of her since Wednesday but the building collapsed on Thursday? Ummmm

Hmmmm... and page 8 Mara only remembers "I had a test Wednesday. I drove home from school and..." hmmm... so she only remembers Wednesday. She remembers grabbing a cereal bar from the kitchen, was it drugged? We're those before throwbacks actually fake?

I'm rereading it too! I didn't notice the Thursday/Wednesday thing damn i wonder if that was a mistake or not?? I just don't know haha probably not though, it was probably intentional on Michelle's part to see if we'd notice the inconsistency.

I was thinking though, that the medicines Mara is given to treat her ptsd could be tampered with, so her memories could probably be fake?? I mean if Kells can TAKE memories away, like its suggested in chapter 2, then maybe she can plant them too with certain drugs and treatments? And Jude did break into her house, its possible he could have switched her meds? (actually Mara didn't always take her medicine though, right?) If you're right about the cereal bar being drugged though I could see that being a possibility. But also, in evolution theres the video they found that showed Kells there too so idk if its all faked? I haven't reread that far or remember enough haha

But maybe the drugs that Mara is given at horizons caused her "flashbacks/dreams" or whatever they were of her grandmother? Those could be fake maybe, part of the blind study, or maybe even an accident (wait it was of her grandmother in evolution right? damn im realizing how much I don't remember now LOL) Did she start having those before or after she was sent to Horizons?

LOL maybe i should keep my theories to myself until i finish rereading them both, my memory is faulty. This is why I haven't been posting a ton of theories on the maradyertheories blog haha I need to refresh my memory

also, this is kind of out there, but what if Dr. Kells has an ability to plant and take away memories, and its not the drugs at all?

What if it wasn't even her grandma in the flashbacks in evolution? I have a theory that's actually Mara as a child... but Idk... I'm reading unbecoming very slowly and thoroughly, paying attention to all the details so I hope to discover something I haven't notices before...
