Kit Fool | 1 comments I read a book when I was in primary school in the 1980s about a woman who time travels back in time to a tribe of some sort, I think celtic, but then ends up returning to present time. Similar story line to Playing Beatie Bow but definitely not that one

Holly (hollylovesbooks) | 759 comments Was this a children's book? And was the main character a grown woman or a girl?

And where did this take place? If it's Celtic, was the main character from Ireland or somewhere else?

You might want to check this list https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/7...

The Wizard Children of Finn by Mary Tannen?

Kit, how is your book similar Playing Beatie Bow?

Arielle Masters | 252 comments Does sound a little like Outlander, though I don't know that a primary school kid would read that. Kit, did you solve this?

Sarah Holland | 134 comments Could it be Saturday, the Twelfth of October, by Norma Fox Mazer?

The only book my mother ever took away from me, because she thought it was a bit too advanced. (I just went back and took it out again).

Rainbowheart | 28591 comments Thousand Camps also has a tribe, but it's not about a girl or woman by herself.

We still don't know if this is YA or adult fiction?
