Elizabeth (ekalmusla) Hey all!

New to this group, and wanted to get out there and ask what would you consider to be the best science fiction/fantasy book you've read? Maybe one that's "off-the-beaten-path"? I'm curious as to what books I've yet to still hear about!

I'd say mine are:

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
1984 by George Orwell

:)

Echoes | 7 comments Ready Player One was fantastic. I've always liked Brave New World over 1984. My absolute favorite novel is Mockingbird by Walter Tevis. I also like Ender's Game and Starship Troopers. My favorite genre is scifi and I could list great novels for days, but I think those would be my top picks. Welcome to the group :)

✨ | 91 comments Well, I think my answer is cliche but my favorite is and always will be Harry Potter. It was the first saga I've read and I was obsessively in love with the story.

I would have to say that beyond a doubt, my favourite fantasy books are "The Banned and the Banished" series. I loved them! They are amazing books by James Clemens, and I couldn't put any of them down once I started the first one.
