tmi is getting turned into a tv show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i'm completely okay with that tbh bUT I JUST WANT THE ORIGINAL CAST TO STAY (especially lily jemima and robbie)

Well, in a way it might be better since the movie was totally a bad adaptation. It was a good movie but it was a terrible adaptation. I want Jamie tbh nor Lily :/ anyway. Now that I think about it more closely, it might be a good idea after all. I just saw the article too! It says that they might do the same with TID and TDA :3 Gawsh! TID have to be movies !!! They shouldn't ruin that end for me cuz I will be DESTROYED

It has not been confirmed yet apparently, we'll find out tomorrow. If it's done right then great. it means more. I reckoned they'll change everything.

I wish TID was turned into a TV series (I just need more TID) but this should be interesting and yes I really hope they keep the original cast or things will get messy

When does the pilot air? Is it only tmi or tid is also set to become tv show?

I just want to original movie cast (which I thought was great!) to be the same as the TV series cast. If it isn't, I WILL SHUN ANY and ALL CASSANDRA CLARE ASSOCIATED MERCHANDISE!!!

If you think about it, this is sorta like when they turned Vampire Diaries into a TV series, except the fact that I hadn't (and still haven't) read it, so I'm not as familiar with the debate...

But if they're doing TID in there, they should do it like The Originals for The Vampire Diaries; make it a prequel and carry on from there.

Ah I agree, they should only make 6-8 seasons. I think they are going to recast Jace and Clary :3 because both actors have other plans and I don't think they will be able to make it through the seasons

idk..i kinda like the cast, especially simon (Im going to marry that beautiful man oneday.) However i agree that the movie wasnt as good as the book, and HEAPS of DETAIL LEFT OUT! some detail they chose to leave out was sooooooo fundamental to the characters that just gave the story in the movie at the end no depth, but i really hope they make it a TV show like ALL OF IT and then when its done like incorperate all the different series together and show how they overlap, especially the bane chronicals, my life will be complete if they do this, omg

I think the bane chronicles should be after TMI and TID like the books if it's that it happens

I totally agree with you! The movie totally left out important details. It was an okay movie but not good enough compared to the epic books.

Meet too because i liked the cast. Its most the movie that needed redoing.

TID is too short of the series to be a TV series. If there was more books than maybe but its only a trilogy.

Or we could give the actors a second chance with a better series. If they ruin the series than well let it be it.

I mean we could but the small screen is not something many actors from the big screen would go for that's why I don't think Lily Collins will be in the series... I could be wrong but hey, if they change the cast they can get people who look more like the actual book characters ^_^

I won't lie... I liked Collins but she wasn't my first choice... Campbell was totally not what I wanted or expected...

I really liked Robert Sheehan - I thought he portrayed Simon really well. I also liked Lena Headey as Jocelyn so I hope those two stay the same. I would like Alex Pettyfer to play Jace because I think he looks the part and Conor McLain is perfect for Sebastian.

Robert Sheehan was so much better looking than Jace...I can't imagine Clary, or any girl, not choosing Simon. Alex Pettyfer would have been a good choice for Jace.

I would love it if Lily Collins would still be Clary And Godfrey Gao should still be Magnus because he fits the role so perfectly! But I would like a new Jace and a new Valentine.. Oh and Lena Headey please as Jocelyn again!

I agree with you guys... Magnus, Simon, Jocelyn, and even Luke were good... The rest need to go away lol... Alex would of been perfect for JACE, he was my first and only choice lol but he didn't want to be a teen character anymore, he wants to be a more serious/mature role... Oh well, there is plenty of actors that could be JACE :$

I just hope it's a lot better than the movie to be honest because some people may like the movie, and I respect your opinion but it just did not meet my expectations.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the casting for the show, especially Alec ;). When I first saw that Katherine McNamara would be playing Clary, I was a little nervous but then I watched the making and behind the scenes special on ABC Family and felt a lot better about it.

I can't wait until January 12!!<3
