What's Next? discussion

Easy read but not all there. Narrative told through perspective of mixed correspondance and points of view. Similar to Eleanor Oliphant where serious topics covered with light, witty approach. I preferred Eleanor.

I remember liking this book a lot when I first read it because Bernadette is full of wisdom even though she seems to be unaware of life's many nitty gritty. I always thought this book can be adapted into a play. It will be interesting to see how the film adaption turns out to be

Cate Blanchette is great choice for the main character.

I really loved this book when it came out, and the movie was pretty good too, despite the storyline being so quirky. I've only read one other Maria Semple book (which was excellent). Will have to finally check out Eleanor Oliphant this year - it's been on my radar but I never got around to it.
