But it's okay, it doesn't count for challenge so I'm not going to read right now... I started today. I really don't remember Pushing the Limit except for the characters Echo & Noah. That's literally all I remember.

I'm at 85%.. I haven't been doing a good job updating here, been too busy!

Anyways.. I'm really liking this book! I think we've seen a total transformation in both main characters. (view spoiler)[ I loved that moment when Ryan realized he loved her and I love that he never wants to hurt her or let her down. I also love that Beth made him reconnect with his brother and that he's starting to release some of that anger he's had for him since he left. I think Beth needs to let her mom go.. She is beyond the point of being helped and she is NOT Beth's responsibility! It's disgusting that she's always had to take care of her mother.. She is who she is because of how her mother made her feel growing up; Like all the bad in their lives was her fault. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ So, I'm at the part where Beth meets Mark, and I'm not sure who I'm siding with here. I mean, I love that she is pushing Ryan to defy his father, because he really does need to stop being a pushover (especially about things that really matter to him), but at the same time, how would Beth like Ryan telling her how to deal with her mother? They sort of have opposite problems. He won't speak to his brother because of his father and she won't leave her mother because of her mother's boyfriend. They're both hurting themselves out of pure stubbornness (and yes, loyalty and compassion) but at some point they need to realize when to let go and keep the people who make them happy in their lives (AND PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY VALUE THEM *COUGH* BETH). I hate Beth's mother, and her situation isn't great but it feels like she choose to stay where she is. It seems like drama is on the way with Gwen. I'm ready for Ryan and Beth to talk a little more.
