Casey Albert | 4 comments It's time to get this group back up and running! This thread is for nominations for November's group read. Nominations must be seconded to go forward to the poll. Nominations will remain open until October 27th, at which point the poll will open until October 31st. Each member can nominate one book, and can also second one book. The topic for November can be anything related to learning/gaining knowledge in any subject. Hopefully with enough participation, we will start with rotating topics beginning in December.

Erick Romero (ericknogueiraromero) I nominate Noam Chomsky's "Media Control: The Spectacular Achievements of Propaganda. 2nd Edition." It's a quick read and a perfect primer for discussions ranging from communication theory and foreign policy to ethics and government.
