Hi everyone!

Our October and November read is Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action by Simon Sinek.

From Google Books: START WITH WHY shows that leaders who’ve had the greatest influence in the world all think, act, and communicate the same way – and it’s the opposite of what everyone else does. Sinek calls this powerful idea The Golden Circle, and it provides a framework upon which organizations can be built, movements can be led, and people can be inspired.

We’ll be discussing the title at our November LDD meeting, where we hope to be joined by members of LAIG, but please share your thoughts on our Leaders Who Library discussion board as well.

If you have the opportunity, take a moment to watch Simon Sinek’s TED Talk based on Start With Why. It was the third most popular TED video, with over 28 million viewers!

Don’t forget: You can share with us if you’re holding a meet up to discuss the current selection.
