Some history about this world wonder: (from Wikipedia)
Chichen Itza is a Mayan archaeological site in the Northern Mayan Lowlands in Yucatan, Mexico. It was one of the largest Mayan cities in pre-Hispanic Mexico. It was built during the Late Classic a between 750 and 900 AD. The name Chichen Itza means "At the mouth of the Itza", with Itza being a dominant ethnic group of the time. The site consists of several structures, the most popularly photographed of which is the Kukulcán pyramid (pictured above).
