Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week (Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace)

I love, love, LOVE the Mercy Thompson series. Before I discovered Mercy, I became a fan of Sookie Stackhouse, Anita Blake, and Queen Betsy, but Mercy takes them all! How many women can say they know how to fix an automobile, kick some serious supernatural butt, and then go home and bake when they're upset. The world that Patricia created seems so real - the characters are wonderfully likable and the story moves super fast. I had a really hard time putting this book down. I did miss the vampires a bit, but I'm guessing they'll be back for a visit soon.

Review: Interesting tale of a post virus world that transformed the majority of the population into Zombies post "Flux". The main character "Nowen" is an amnesiac that awoke in the hospital as everything was going to hell. Very Walking Dead like with a lot less survivors. With the character having no back history or knowledge of herself, came with a big twist as she slowly discovered that she was a wolf shifter and fighting an inner battle of control. This was an all out survival read, no romance or any filler in this one.

Ty McCordle at first pass is a typical playboy, but upon meeting Imogen Wilson who appears to be a book worm, that all changes. I love the witty dialogue and the scenes with them together is very hot, heavy and numerous.

My only complaint is that the first 50 or so pages are a little slow, but after that, it goes from slow to awesome for the rest of the book.

I ran into a bit of a glitch with my reading this week only because of some library due dates. Almost done with Dying Bites but have Betrayed by PC Cast that is due back, um, last week. So I'm going to finish Betrayed and probably use it for the B, Dying Bites for the shifter/free space. I haven't started the Elizabeth Hunter book yet but will soon.

I hope to get to Hounded anyway since I have it for another week or so. I'm hoping H, I, or K gets called Wednesday so I can still read it for this challenge.

I read this one earlier this year and enjoyed it but not nearly as much as the first in the series. I loved how Ty and Imogen were so different that they connected. I loved Imogen. She reminded me of the social awkwardness that the boys from The Big Bang Theory have.

Review:

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I didn't know what to expect.

Alpha Mine is about Vampires and humans. The story starts 7 years in the past. Katrina is attacked by Vampires when she is leaving her job at a club. Another Vampire rescues her and heals and protects her. Katrina knows there are vampires and is friends with Marcus, the one who saved her.

Now it is 7 years later and Marcus and Kat are living together as friends. Marcus' creator arrives unexpectedly in Las Vegas. His name is Stephan. Marcus and Kat live in Stephan's penthouse. Stephan learns about Kat and feels a connection to her.

The Vampires look for the heartmate. When they find their hearmate they love them for eternity. The way they find out if a human is a vampires hearmate is by drinking the humans blood. I loved Stephan, Marcus, and the other Alpha's that we met in this book. They don't believe in hunting humans. They will fight for humans and protect them.

Hoping there is another book in this series.
