I actually agree. I found the lack of passion for one another (especially since Simon said Baz is the only person he's ever wanted) kind've weird. By the time of Wayward Son, they'd have to have been dating for around two years. That's a long time to hold that off. It's also weird since Simon wouldn't really think of the consequences since he doesn't think. He could've just acted on impulse and done it, but yet it still hasn't happened yet?

Like... seriously, Simon and Baz have been dating long enough that Baz finished his last year at Watford, but they're still both virgins? That's some sex negative, "I only like gay boys when they're non-sexual" BS if I've ever seen it.
Female authors need to stop writing books where gay male characters have 'female gaze'. They're STILL BOYS! If you're going to write a male character, he's going to be very visually stimulated. When he gets horny, he's going to want to have sex. Gay boys do not have all the hang ups about sex that girls get. Nobody ever tells us that we're not supposed to be sluts or whatever. And when you've already accepted that who you are isn't something your parents wanna talk about or think about, and when you've already established that your straight friends aren't interested in your sex life you have no motivation not to jump in with both feet. (That's a jumping into a pool metaphor, in my experience only a few gay dudes I've met have been into foot stuff.)
