Glad it helps. I'll add on to this as we move along.

Dorothea Brooke ‘Dodo’: nineteen years old, idealistic, austere; seeks to do something good in life, even if it’s through helping her husband; married to Edward Casaubon
Celia Brooke ‘Kitty’: Dorothea’s younger sister, also austere in her dress, though less so than Dorothea, but with more common sense and ability perhaps to see people for what they are; to be married to Sir James Chettam
Mr Brooke: Their uncle and guardian, with conservative/stereotypical views on women, a traditionalist, but a good-hearted man
Sir James Chettam: landowner; not too bright but keen to explore innovations in agriculture; admires Dorothea but turns his attentions to Celia once Dorothea accepts Mr Casaubon.
Rev. Casaubon: Clergyman and scholar; with sole interest in his research endeavours; looks like Locke (with few moles thrown in); married to Dorothea
Will Ladislaw: Mr Casaubon’s cousin/nephew; travelling the continent; no purpose or vocation in mind; no edits the Pioneer
Mr Vincy: Manufacturer and mayor of Middlemarch
Mrs Vincy: His wife, good-natured lady
Rosmond Vincy: Their daughter; beautiful and dreams of improving her situation through marriage; married t Tertius Lydgate
Fred Vincy: Their son and Rosamond’s brother; does nothing, hasn’t finished his education, and lives on the strength of his expectations
Tertius Lydgate: New doctor in town with good connections but no wealth; has new ideas and views on medicine.
Mr Bulstrode: Banker and Mr Vincy’s brother-in-law
Mr Featherstone: wealthy old landlord; related to the Vincys and Garths
Mary Garth: lives with and looks after her relation Mr Featherstone; plain but level headed
Caleb Garth: Mary’s father; land agent among other to Sir James and Mr Brooke
Mrs Garth: Mary’s mother; a former teacher
Mrs Waule: Mr Featherstone’s sister
Mr Chichley: middle-aged bachelor and coursing celebrity
Mr Standish: lawyer
Humphrey Cadwaller: Rector
Mrs Cadwaller: his wife; a matchmaker of sorts for Dorothea and Sir James and later Celia and Sir James.
Mr Farebrother: poor vicar; also a naturalist; supports his old mother, older sister, and Miss Noble, his mother’s sister.
Joshua Rigg ‘Featherstone’: Mr Featherstone’s surprise heir; unsavoury character with some similar relations.
Mr Raffles: Step father of Joshua Rigg.
