Beta Reading Group for Marita A. Hansen discussion

Please state your interest below in becoming a beta reader for this New Adult series. It's set in Minnesota, USA, so it would be good if I have at least one person from that area. Once we have enough beta readers, I will start sending out a chapter at a time. This series is a serial.

Pulling beta readers one chapter at a time sounds like a brilliant plan. Also finding beta readers on Goodreads also sounds awesome. I would like to give it a shot. I'll be gone for the weekend, but I'll be back Monday.

An update: The Cheat is just over 22,500 words, and has 8 chapters. The first chapter is 9 window doc pages long. I can send it out as a mobi or windows doc (next week), or whatever file type works best for you. If anyone doesn't like the first chapter (or the follow up ones) don't feel like you have to continue beta reading, I understand it won't be everyone's taste. It's New Adult through and through. Anyway, I want this to be as fun as possible. I used to have a beta reading group a number of years ago for My Masters' Nightmare, which was a lot of fun. Though, The Cheat isn't harsh like MMN, plus the language is fairly clean due to the location and characters. However, it does get a bit raunchy at times, but only for plot purposes not for the sake of it. *The characters are 18 or older.

Hi, I've changed the name of the beta reading group from Beta Reading Group for The Cheat to Beta Reading Group for Marita A. Hansen. It's due to some people asking to be beta readers for my other books, such as HUNGOVER. Also, The Cheat's following episode is called The Cheerleader, so the new group title is more suitable.

On another note, if you've read chapter 1 and want the following chapters (up to 4 are available), let me know as I'm starting to lose track on who's been sent what :)

Cool :) Chapters 5-6 are now ready too. I think the wording in parts might need to be fixed in those two chapters, but they'll do for now.

The Cheat's beta reading will be closing in the next few days since the story will be passed on for editing. I will start sending The Cheerleader out to anyone that's interested, though you will need to have read The Cheat to be part of that beta reading team since The Cheerleader is episode 2 in the series.

That's great! I'm happy you liked it :) The following episodes definitely throw in some curve balls you won't expect.

Beta Reading is now closed for THE CHEAT (Episode 1), it's now with an editor, so I don't need anymore beta readers for this book. The first chapters of THE CHEERLEADER (Episode 2) have been sent out to the beta readers who finished THE CHEAT. If you haven't finished THE CHEAT and still want to do beta reading for me, I'll have other books coming out. I will also be doing ARCs for THE CHEAT, so once the book tour is up you can sign up for an ARC. Anyway, thanks for everyone's interest, I really appreciate it!
