Goodreads Choice Awards Book Club discussion

Monthly Challenge: 1st to 30th November
Only books read during the challenge period are allowed.

Guidelines:
- Read ONE book for each category (10 books in total).
- You don't have to read all ten categories, just read whatever you are able.
- Any genres are acceptable.
- Any book length is acceptable.

For the competitive (optional)
- At the end of each month, document your finished books in the reporting thread
- 1pt for each book completed, 2pts for any book that is on the current Goodreads winners and nominees list
- Each month's totals will be collated and the member with the most points at the end of the year will have bragging rights ...... and we may be able to award a (small) prize!

3. Month in Numbers: Read a book with 8 letters or words in the title (subtitle can count)

4. Bonfire Night (UK): Read a book with fire or fireworks on the cover

5. Black Friday: Read a book with a black cover (50%)

6. Buy Nothing Day (in protest to Black Friday): Read a book that you got for free (given as a present, library book etc)

7. World Television Day: Read a book adapted for TV

8. National Take A Hike Day: Read a book with an outdoor scene on the cover

9. Play Monopoly Day: Connect something in Monolopy to a book
Examples: Location of book same as one of the various monolopy boards, dog / hat etc (game pieces) on book cover, MC buys a house / goes to jail etc. If you can connect, anything goes
