Anita (anitafajitapitareada) As you all know, we are now sadly down a key moderator. As I am still processing the loss, I also have to question the future of this group. El was the much more voiciferous member of our moderating partnership here, and the F-Word will not be the same without her. We've also lost Alexa to the unknown some years ago now.

Please comment here if you'd like to come on board to moderate The F-Word. Anyone willing to regularly participate in group reads and discussions in order to facilitate and moderate discussions is welcome to ask to become a moderator. We are very fortunate to have a comfortable atmosphere and group of members, and as we do nominations and polls just twice a year, this is a pretty low maintenance group. Obviously you're welcome to come with your own ideas and flourishes as this is what makes our group our group.

Honore | 78 comments Hi, I often participate with the group when you all are reading the non-fiction feminist books. I would be interested in seeing what all the on deck non-fiction book are and then determine if I have the ability to moderate the non-fiction side of this group. Let me know if that would be helpful!

Hi Honore, our current and upcoming books are listed on the group home page. I think I have them all listed in the nominations/polls discussion as well.

We have the non fiction we're reading now, Rage Becomes Her: The Power of Women's Anger, and Betraying Big Brother: The Feminist Awakening in China in December, with the fiction Red Clocks in November.

We haven't done 2020 polls yet. It would definitely be helpful to have someone on board for any discussions. Unfortunately our current book discussion is ... non existent.

tif flynn (itsmetif) | 2 comments Hello. I've only just seen this discussion and wasn't sure if it was too late to say that I would be interested in being a moderator. If it's not, then I am :)
