The orchard is where the Emerald Clan gathers most of their food, as they don't like having to go shopping at a market (too many minds). There are trees that bear fruit for different times of the year, so there's always something to eat. The orchard takes up a lot of the forest, and you could probably get lost in it if you didn't know the way.
