How’s everyone doing? Day one is under way! I plan to work on my audiobook today while I drive to big town for groceries.

message 3: by Kristy (new)

Kristy Johnston Currently taking a break for yoga but I've read an hour this morning and I'm 106 pages into Dracul. It's a windy, dreary day near Houston so I'm planning on spending most of it curled under a blanket on the couch with a book.
Dracul by Dacre Stoker

Shannon (shananigansreads) | 43 comments I've only gotten in 34 minutes. My audiobook is on CD so I can't bring it around with me :-(

You guys are doing great! I hope everyone is having fun. I read a couple of children’s books by Ashley Spires, and they were wonderful! Binky the Space Cat

Jessica-sim Read 2 hrs today (train journeys and reading work well for me!) had to delay leaving the platform upon arrival to finish the chapter haha. Bought groceries, will cook now and am looking forward to a night on the sofa reading some more

Everyone is doing so good! I hope you’re having fun too. Last stretch of the readathon today.

message 15: by Jenny (new)

Jenny Clark I did not read at all Saturday, and won't have time to today either... a measly 2 hours total for me haha

message 16: by Jessica-sim (new)

Jessica-sim Read 5 hrs today, then my ipads battery failed ...probably for the better because I already fear the book will haunt my dreams

How did everyone do?

I ended up with 8 hours and 47 minutes.

message 18: by Kristy (new)

Kristy Johnston I got distracted by music festivals and the World Series this weekend, but I managed about 4 hours each day for a total of 11 hours and 43 minutes. I have a lot to do before Thursday since I am way behind on my October challenges.

message 19: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (shananigansreads) | 43 comments I forgot to set a timer Saturday and Sunday but I finished 2 of the 3 books I wanted to so I'll call it a winning weekend.

message 20: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer (JenIsNotaBookSnob) (jenisnotabooksnob) | 1 comments I really meant to participate this weekend, but, kept forgetting to write my start and end times- I read a TON though. I read The Roundhouse by Erdrich, The Cat; Or How I Lost Eternity by Richter and Frankly in Love by David Yoon.

So, read 835 pages- just forgot to keep track of my time. Realistically, based on that page count I probably didn't quite read 12 hours.

message 21: by Glenda (new)

Glenda | 52 comments Well, only a bit under 12 hours for me, but I finished 3 books from my Halloween to read list.
