This is a short and sweet team reading challenge. Due to the holidays and busyness of the season, I thought it would be nice to have a simple challenge that pretty much any book would work towards.

THE RULES:

This is a 21 day challenge. The goal is to read as many books as possible that correlate to the challenge's theme. You get 1 point per book finished for the challenge. The team with the most points at the end of the challenge is the winner. :)

In order for a book to count, you must find something you are "thankful for" either on the cover or in the title.

For example:

Thankful for: On cover - I'm thankful for my eyes


Thankful for: Title- I'm thankful for family


Basic challenge requirements:

~MINIMUM of 100 pages for any book used in the challenge
~No manga/graphic novels, cookbooks, etc. Basically anything that has more pictures than text. ;)
~Rereads are fine, as long as you don't reread the same book in this challenge.
~Reviews are not required, but authors appreciate them, so it's always a nice thing to do.

Signups close 10/30. The challenge begins November 1st at 12:01 AM ET and ends November 21st at 11:59 PM ET.

HI. Might pass on this one. I am not sure i can find things to be thankful for in all the titles of my books and i am unable to do the covers, as i have no idea what's on the covers. It does sound like a fun chalenge though.

As long as you have at least 100 pages left to read when the challenge starts, it is fine if you start books now.

I'll give it a try. I read usually 2-3 books a week.

Count me in! I typically read 2-3 bpw, (books per week) not counting school (a lot of my curriculum is literature based) but I might be able to use a couple of those, and when I have breaks, weekends and such, I might up it to 3-5 bpw.

Ok I'm in! My books-per-week count has gone down significantly since I'm now in an actual school, but probably like 1-2 now. Maybe even 0 if it's a busy week :(

Regarding our next challenge, it might not be for a little bit. I'm still not done with the challenge and also just don't know if I can properly host a challenge right now. Maybe I'll be able to do it come February when things will hopefully slow down.
