Okay, but this is the best book I've read in a while. It was honestly kind of hard to get into in the beginning, so I put it away after a few chapters. And then I had nothing else to read. My bi-weekly library visit was a week away, and I had nothing. That's when I decided to give We Regret to Inform You one more try. And I am so glad I did.

It was funny, mysterious, and relatable to over-achievers like myself, who are focused on being perfect, not happy. There was a little bit of everything here. Mystery, romance, and comedy. The holy trinity of content. I don't think there was much cussing, or any at all. Stuff like that is so normal that it just flies over my head, and there's no common sense media review for this, so I can't contribute there. But though it was hard to get into, I finished the remaining 3/4 of the book in one night. (Sleep is for the weak, apparently.) It was so so so funny, and I LOVED it. and there were some amazing characters. They had depth, and were just pretty amazing with a strong female lead and secondary characters. There was also some LGBTQ+ content, but it wasn't a very big part of the book. And even though that was kind of glossed over, this still has to be one of my favorite books of the year, and I will read it over and over again until I just can't stand it anymore. 5/5 stars.

I can't properly age rate it, since I don't know much about the cursing thing, but I would say about 13-15.
