The Wasp Factory discussion

Frank likes to put sticks in the ground with dead animal heads on them. He calls them totems to ward off other people. His father is a biologist that works with chemistry. He never registered Frank when he was born, but home schooled him. He often lied to him with his teachings. Frank's brother Eric escaped the mental hospital and is headed back home.

Read the Wasp Factory some years ago. I was surprised to learn the book was published in 1984 as it feels contemporary. When Eric makes his way home the images are truly scary. As for Frank, what a sad and mislead life. Banks passed away in 2013.
