Did you at first question whether Brian Hall was truly innocent?

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments There was so much evidence against him that it was hard to think he was innocent. I thought maybe he was involved somehow.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 9285 comments Mod
At the very beginning, I thought maybe someone had manipulated the evidence. I liked how the author decided to create a double threat in this story.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I really didn't think he was innocent at the beginning. I think part of it was hoping that an innocent man hadn't been in prison that long.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 9285 comments Mod
I had the same hope, too, for Olivia's sake.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I thought he must have been guilty. I really wanted him to be guilty. After all, he didn't put up any defense and I can't believe it took 40 years for him to "remember" his buddy with the same unusual tattoo.

I agree, Anita.

And even when he remembered, it took a lot of prompting. He didn’t have a lot going on upstairs.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments LOL!! My feelings exactly!

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments When DNA evidence was produced, I had to admit he must have been innocent; imagine how many men have been wrongly prosecuted in the past.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 9285 comments Mod
I shudder thinking about that, Charlene.

I remember thinking about that too, Charlene, when I was reading. And not only been in prison but possibly executed when they were innocent.
