Any favorite or memorable scenes?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I was so sad when Zack turned his back on Olivia and never allowed her to try and explain why she did what she did. He took it as a personal attack on himself and didn't see that Olivia did what she had to do.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments He did take it pretty hard. You're right though, he didn't give her a chance to explain and that doesn't show how much he cared for her. He blew her off pretty quickly.

His reaction disappointed me greatly. I could see him being upset but turning his back on her and walking away? She didn’t deserve that. I’m still upset with him about that.

Another memorable scene was the one that forced Olivia to open up herself to herself. It’s when she criticized Brenda Davidson for ignoring her other child, Amanda, after her daughter Michelle was found murdered. Amanda’s running away was the wake up call she needed. Olivia got to see what her life might have been like if someone had intervened. And, she got to see it wasn’t about loving her less. It was a pivotal moment for Olivia, Amanda and Brenda.

I loved the whole Nina scene but one in particular was when she was in the van and talked herself down from hysteria to rational thinking. She’s a gymnast and used her skills to get out of her restraints. How a ten-year old could find this kind of focus...

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments All of these were great scenes.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments Agreed, but I did think Olivia's criticism of Mrs Davidson was a key scene. She allowed herself to become unprofessional, but that blunder forced her to be personal (with herself).

Excellent point, Charlene.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I agree with all of you. The one that really stood out for me was the scene with Mrs Davidson. I felt like I was there watching the two of them.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I clapped for Olivia after the scene with Mrs. Davidson. I wanted to slap the woman myself with how she was ignoring her daughter.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments Me too, Melissa

I tried to be sympathetic as I can’t imagine the grief of losing a child. But, it’s hard to understand how you can ignore the remaining.
