Cognitive Dissidents discussion

ANNOUNCING: my latest record, brought to you by Mikey Seamans' Dear Skull Records! Yes, we finally got the records today after a delay of 3 mnths caused by the 1st pressing plant who rc'vd the 'masters' refusing to press it b/c it has samples. Relevant to this group is that the B Side (pressed experimentally in a way that will be revealed elsewhere) has text cut in the wind-off groove area that was intended to read: COGNITIVE DISSIDENTS but that was transformed by the record 'masterer' into "CONITIVE DISSIDENT ?" Does this create our 1st identity crisis?

Is this perhaps because the Dissident's speech is circular, elliptical, hyperbolic, & parabolic-- or simply that his nickname "egghead" somehow got mistranslated in passing through the linguistic filter of some obscure latin herbologist & hence appears under this nomenclature within all of the Deer School records?

Sorry for not being more involved in these discussions... I barely have time to read any of the posts all the way through.

Hey Skizz! Thanks for yr interest! They're not ready yet. I still have to drill an extra hole in every record, the covers have to be printed & then glued on, & we might add at least one other extra. When they're ready, they'll be available thru:

As always, I'm amenable to trading (esp w/ me buddies) so keep that in mind as a possibility. Of course, I'd also like to see Mikey (of Dear Skull) make some moolah - so buying one is much appreciated.
