Kaitlin G Have you ever read a book and actually wished you lived there?

Hmm I would probably want to live in the Discworld universe-- maybe join the assassin guild in the capital. I don't know why, but sounds fun to me xD

Kaitlin G I read this book one time and it was called the tower by Jean Johnson. I couldn't get through any of ger other books, but i loved that one. I would totally love to be in that world.

Kaitlin G What book is that from Alyson?

@Kaitlin- It's from the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. The first book is The Color of Magic :3

Also, The Tower sounds interesting! Insta-TBR!

message 6: by Kaitlin (new)

Kaitlin G I will have to look that up.

message 7: by Kaitlin (new)

Kaitlin G The tower is about a tower that in every room you have to figure out a riddle and you might need a magician or a very strong person. You normally go into it with a group to try to get to the top. All the rewards you get in the room you get to keep! But in the book a bad guy makes the tower go on no mercy. So if you get the riddle wrong you could die.

J.S. Frankel | 8 comments There was a book I read many years ago by Jack Chalker--And the Devil Will Drag You Under. It had something to do with two people trying to recover jewels from banished demons, and one of the worlds was where a person could imagine anything and by force of will would make it happen. Seems like a good thing!

message 9: by Kaitlin (new)

Kaitlin G That would be sweet. You could fight anything.

Sara Roethle (saracroethle) | 10 comments I'm going to have to go with the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. It would be incredibly scary, but equally awesome.

message 11: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I'd have to say Ouran High school host club. It's a manga but it's one of my favorites.

Kaitlin G I uses to read a lot of graphic novels. I mean i think i have up to 40 of naruto and like 14 other ones. I loved them.

message 13: by Kaitlin (new)

J.S. Frankel | 8 comments Robert Jordan never finished the final books...passed on and one of his fans completed a trilogy (haven't read them yet...not as good or so I'm told). The first novelwas good--very long, but interesting. Lots of names and places to process...a good read, though.

Kaitlin G I dont know Jesse, i think i might want to live in your book's world. With me being able to relate to it on a more personal note. It would be sweet to travel to that beach!

message 16: by J.S. (new)

J.S. Frankel | 8 comments I love doing beach scenes. I saved a few good ones for the second and third Lindsay/Jo novels. :)

message 17: by Kaitlin (new)

Kaitlin G I loved how you write that beach. I wish I could have an ocean like that.

message 18: by J.S. (new)

J.S. Frankel | 8 comments I don't know if I'd want a sentient ocean reading my mind...
