It's again time for a Thanksgiving game. Complete the sentence “I am thankful for..." However, instead of using a noun, use the next letter in the alphabet for an adjective or adverb and pair it with one or more other words.

Examples:

I am thankful for amazingly beautiful vistas.
I'm thankful for abundant food.

Someone else may start the game with the letter "a."

I’m thankful for adventurous days.

I am thankful for bountiful food to eat.

I'm thankful for cute dachshunds at my in-law's house.

I'm thankful for our dopey dog, but he's a sweetheart.

I'm thankful for eggnog!

I'm thankful for friendly writing buddies! (Doing NaNo this month.)

I'm thankful for generous friends and relatives.

Thanks for the heads-up. I completely missed the adjectives part.

I'm thankful for orange leaves.

I am thankful for plump sweet potatoes (which I’m having for lunch today).

I'm thankful for quiet afternoons when I can sit wrapped in quilt on my porch and breathe in all the wonderful smells and sights of Autumn.
