We have a dedicated channel for Neal Shusterman discussion in the Discord server that complements this GR group, and shortly before The Toll was released a bunch of people decided to read (or even re-read) the first two books so they'd be ready. This thread is to give those who did the reading a place to talk about each book.

This thread is dedicated specifically to book one in the series. Enjoy!

J. Shrout | 1 comments This was such a good book. I haven’t been so drawn in by someone’s writing style in a very long time, and although it took me a little bit to get to know the characters I glued to the book right out of the gate. Looking forward to getting into the next one! :D

I keep hearing so much about it that I can't help but want to grab it! It's on my TBR and has been for a while, but it may be a case of needing to increase the priority soon. :)

Jane Swift (swiftology) | 3 comments Personally I think the best thing about this book is the setting. Most dystopia books are set in a post-apocalyptic world where everything is in shambles, but this book is set in a perfect world where every problem has been eradicated by technology. It's very unique in its own way and I enjoyed reading it.
