The Pelicans’ Nest discussion

I am amazed at what she was reading as a young teenager. And the fact that she was learning Latin and Greek so young. I had read that it was normal 100+ years ago, but this book made that fact more real to me.

One of the things that struck me last time I read this is that it didn't matter which group of people she was with, I was struck by a sense of common decency and community strongly among her socialist groups.
