Rhonda El Toro was my goal in 2019 and I made it with time to spare. It's a reasonable goal for me and still gets me closer to a reasonable TBR, so I think I'll keep it as my goal for 2020.

Carla B (carlamwestyahoocom) | 52 comments if you keep up that pace you'll have no problem makong your goal and then some! how far over did you go last year? I'm usually way past where I am this year. I blame Netflix and diamond dots! tho I am getting.lots of audios listened to. A few have been ones that I have an actual hard copy of so tjey are going into my gice away pile but I'm not counting them towards books read.

I made it to 100 last year, barely. For most year long challenges, I start out strong, then fall behind, then start panicking in early fall. :) I listen to audiobooks as well. I spend a lot of time in the car, so it's a great way to read more books. I do have a large audio library (some of which I also own in physical and/or ebook), but some I do get from the library. I count them all, as long as I own it in some format before this year.

Carla B (carlamwestyahoocom) | 52 comments that's awesome! I don't usually count books, I was always shooting for number of pages which is why I didn't count audio. of course I'd always count at the end of the year. this year tho I'm keeping 3 separate counts, audios where I happen to own the book (I always check the library for digital audio copies when I choose a book to read and if it's there I'll listen instead because then I can multitask) books I own, and audios I don't own? jist for gee whiz info. at the end of the year tho I'll know at a glance how many I've gotten rid of after reading/listening. I pass most along, only keep a very few.

Ashley (ashielizz) I'm the same way Rhonda! I start off great and then start slacking. Then I end up in a panic neat the end of the year trying to finish. It puts me in such a slump I get completely turned off from reading.

Leslie You are climbing at a good clip Rhonda! Keep it up :)

Rhonda My reading really slowed down in April, but I did finish an acceptable amount for this challenge.

22. Les Miserables - started in January, but read the last half this month. It has been on my TBR the longest of any other book I own. Not gonna lie... very proud of myself for finishing this. And I loved it!!
23. Crown of Feathers
24. Sweep in Peace
25. One Fell Sweep

Pamela | 81 comments Congrats on getting through Les Miserables! Quite a book, one of the longest too. I read it last year, took me 7.5 months. Great book!

Thank you! I listened to a reading companion podcast while reading it as well. It was very good, but added a lot of time to getting through the book. I'd still recommend it.
