I still haven't read either. I still have no interest in reading Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Name so I'm banking on Tree of Smoke.

I just finished Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Name, and I was really underwhelmed. Meanwhile, I think Tree of Smoke might be unstoppable, all the way to the end. So, Tree of Smoke for me.

Oh, I forgot to say that this judge is the one I can't stand of the tournament. It might be an overreaction to the voice of his blog (he uses the royal "we"), but I think he's ridiculous.

Still haven't read either myself, but "Tree of Smoke" sounds like the more "serious" pick.

Tree of Smoke is my pick to win. I hope to get to it soon.

Strangely, the outcome of this round has piqued my interest in "Let the Northern Lights..." and pretty much killed any interest in "Tree of Smoke," mainly because of the commentators' praise of it.

He was a bit of an ass.
