Jessica Reads It (jessicareadsit) | 42 comments I love how KH gives us what we didn’t know we ever needed! The scene where Kist and Rach have their first date and they end up at Piscarys is always a favorite for me because of the line dancing scene. How fun would that be!

Karen | 7 comments I do wonder if it's one of those dances they've done so often that everyone knows exactly what to do when or if it is their keen senses and quick instincts letting them all pick it up seamlessly. I also enjoy how goofy she gets when blood-sugar. And how very clever Kisten is pulling Ivy and her jealous possessiveness where Rachel is concerned--as well as her mistrust of everyone-- into play to keep Rachel from taking her anger straight to the deep end so that she doesn't end the "date". Rachel's emotional reaction to the vamps trusting her and sharing a secret side of themselves with her always triggers my own emotions-- she really is lonely in so many ways and I've always felt that her heart just wants to hold everyone even if she tries to hide it.

I assumed it was a senses thing but it could be a combination of both. It is DEFINITELY on of those scenes from the series that I immediately wanted to see on screen.

I enjoyed reading that part for sure. I was thinking the same thing reading it, that I'd love to check out a vamp dance. Then I thought about how Anne Rice has a yearly ball, that still goes on. It would be great to get something like that going in Ohio for Kim's novels.

Nickie | 47 comments I laugh so hard every time I read about vamps line dancing! It really is a great way for us to see "behind the scenes" in the day of a life of a vamp. I truly enjoy hearing and seeing how the vamps actually choose to live their down time when not have to "act like a vamp". It's really interesting to see how quickly Rachel becomes blood-sugared because we all assume that she is highly stressed. Her first response to being sugared, anger (embarrassment I think), is a typical Rachel response. Then she actually listens to Kist and learns/understands what blood sugared means and how the vamps see her now.

Barb (unicorn6482) | 42 comments Yes vampires line dancing lol. I had a hard time picturing this in my mind at first. Its just not the kind of thing vampires usually do. But in the Hollows universe it seems anything goes!
