W GR can take up a fair bit of time, writing reviews, reading reviews, browsing books, messages, groups and quotes. My reading time has decreased as a result.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Time here sure can cut into reading time! Especially if, like me, you're a moderator in a few groups! It's a balancing act; I have to husband my resources, sift for my interests, curb my curiosity about the irrelevant. And it helps that I have no TV and virtually no movies in my life, either. :)

W As for the irrelevant, there is a lot of it here. And before you know it,it takes up a lot of time.

Phrodrick slowed his growing backlog | 348 comments What a great question!
I often ask it of myself.
The most I have done about it is to cut my group memberships and fiddle with my settings.

Christy Baker Oh my goodness, yes! I was just thinking that next year, I'm dropping the other groups I'm in next year and just keeping this one and going to only limit myself to a couple of the challenges here. It is so tempting reading all the reviews, but clearly reading itself is the real joy for most of us or we wouldn't be here I'm guessing.
