I would not count it for myself. It feels like if the category was “a girl on the cover” and someone read Magic for Liars by Sarah Gailey or Middlegame by Seanan McGuire

Thanks! I agree with you... which is a pity as I thought I'd managed to get all the books I desperately want to read into the challenge categories :-)
Although I think for many of us that's half the fun, doing the planning when the new list comes out!

The first book in the series is Murder With Peacocks.
