Sara My suggestion for this would be to check your Goodreads TBR first. If you go in a browser (not the app) to "My Books" you should be able to sort your shelf by ratings to see what you already want to read that has at least a 4 star average. If the ratings aren't showing in your books list you may have to adjust the settings (at the top of the table) to select it to show.

Thomas I really want to read The Starless Sky. I hope it keeps itbfor star rating till new years day

message 3: by Darci (new)

Darci Day | 164 comments I'm trying to pick most of my books from ones I already own, and this one was harder than I thought it'd be. Most of my books are just under the 4 star rating. Luckily Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal fits the bill.

message 4: by Karin (new)

Karin This is fairly simple-as Sara suggested, I am going to start with my Goodreads TBR _for me that's my Want to Read shelf.) BUT I also think this is a great place to put an unplanned book that happens to have at least a 4 star rating that I decide to read for fun or for some other challenge, etc.

message 5: by Chrissy (new)

Chrissy | 387 comments I’m shocked by how many 4+ star books are on my TBR! Exciting!

The Chapter Conundrum (Stacey) | 404 comments I'm using this prompt as an excuse to pick up Holly Black's The Folk of the Air series & I'm rather excited about that!! All 3 in the trilogy are currently above 4 star ratings on GR so I'm sure that by the time I get around to them next year at least one of them will still be! & I'll fit another from the series into the author with flora/fauna in their name prompt =D

The Cruel Prince
The Wicked King
The Queen of Nothing

message 15: by Alex (new)

Alex Cooper | 5 comments 1.2.2020
Drink Deep (Chicagoland Vampires, #5) by Chloe Neill

4.1 star rating on Goodreads- I gave it a solid 3

message 16: by Chinook (new)

Chinook | 731 comments I read Tell the Wolves I'm Home and was happy to see it was just over 4. It was a great read - I stayed up way too late because I had to know what was going to happen. I was wrong in what I thought was going to happen, but even once I realized that I just needed to know how everything wrapped up.

message 17: by Lauconn (new)

Lauconn | 33 comments I just finished The Lady's Guide to Celestial Mechanics and LOVED it. And it works for this one!

message 18: by Brandon (new)

message 19: by GothChickVibing (new)

GothChickVibing | 2 comments I accidentally filled this one with The Painted Garden by Mary Woodin. It has 4.5 stars on GoodReads. :)

message 20: by Karin (new)

message 21: by Ilham (new)

message 23: by Becky (new)

message 30: by Tania (new)

Tania | 1 comments I just finished "Say You're Sorry" by Melinda Leigh

message 31: by Shelley (new)

Shelley | 231 comments I went with Swamp Sniper which has a 4.43 rating. As a tip, generally later books in a series have high ratings because only the fans who love the series will read that far in. This is the third book in a cozy mystery series about an undercover CIA agent in a small Louisiana town. Hilarity ensues with her new octogenarian pals. It's a really fun book that you just don't think too hard about.

These books also all contain a map.

message 33: by Karin (new)

Karin I can't use this since I already posted one that fits, but this one works, This Life I Live: One Man's Extraordinary, Ordinary Life and the Woman Who Changed It Forever so I'm adding it to the Listopia now :)

Amari Easter (uhhh_mari) | 14 comments A book that I'm thinking will satisfy this prompt for me is Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. This story is about three mothers who are all at a crossroad in their lives as the story builds up to a murder mystery. It has an average rating of 4.27 on Goodreads and I am on schedule to finish it tomorrow, as I literally cannot wait to find out how the story ends!

message 50: by Lilith (new)

Lilith (lilithp) | 1073 comments Bodymap by Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha serves a shout out. She identifies as a queer brown (Sri Lankan) cis femme with a disability, and wow, her poetry is honest and raw and very moving. If you are looking for incisive poetry that vacillates between tender and tough and always real, this is it.
