Tell us about a book in a city that has hosted the Olympics- be sure to include which city!

Sonya (thelibrarianin3b) | 18 comments I am counting "The Lightning Thief' by Rick Riordan, the first book in the Percy Jackson series. I'm reading this series in preparation for our Library Summer Reading theme.

Two of the main locations in the book are St. Louis and Los Angeles, both of which have hosted the Olympics in the past (and L.A. will again in 2028) so I think this counts.

I read 'The Red Scrolls of Magic' by Cassandra Clare, which is book #1 of the Eldest series spin off about Magnus and Alec! I loved reading about their relationship.
